SIWILAI Unveils Latest “Permanent Vacation” Collab with KAWS
Bangkok’s coolest multi-brand store, SIWILAI, has just dropped their newest addition to the “Permanent Vacation: Friends of Siwilai” series. And this time, they’ve teamed up with none other than the legendary artist and designer, Brian Donnelly, aka KAWS.
KAWS, known for his groundbreaking and boundary-pushing approach to art and design, has brought his signature style to this limited-edition release. The collaboration features custom-drawn designs of the name SIWILAI, incorporating the artist’s iconic XX eyes with the store’s Sun logo in a fresh mint green color. The collection includes short-sleeve and long-sleeve tees in classic black and white, available in limited quantities starting December 12, 2024.
This is not the first time SIWILAI and KAWS have joined forces. Their first collaboration debuted in 2016 with the #KAWSBFF exhibition, which introduced Thai audiences to an 8-meter-tall sculpture and exclusive designs. The event solidified KAWS’s influence in Thailand and celebrated his ability to seamlessly blend fine art with popular culture.
