Le PÈRE Takes on LA: New Store Opening in West Hollywood
Le PÈRE, the edgy menswear label that has been making waves in downtown New York with its artist-inspired fashion collections and lively Orchard Street musical events, is expanding its reach to the West Coast. According to WWD, the brand, which has been around for about two years, will be opening a new shop in Los Angeles.
The store will be located in the trendy West Hollywood neighborhood at 8507 Melrose Avenue. Abhi Janamanchi, brand director at le PÈRE, shared the label’s reasoning behind the decision to establish a presence in LA: “With the continued success of our artist events in New York, many people have been asking if we will ever do something in LA, given the city’s large community of musicians and artists.”
“We felt like now was the perfect time to have a hub on the West Coast, especially with so many of our network and community based there. Plus, LA is a major cultural center, especially in the music scene,” he added.
The LA store, designed by Bond Architecture (the same firm behind le PÈRE’s New York shop), will follow the same concept of combining retail and event space as the flagship store on the East Coast. The interior of the store draws inspiration from classic SoCal elements, such as skateparks and theaters, with a predominantly wooden facade and bleacher seats.
The highly anticipated le PÈRE Los Angeles store will officially open its doors on Tuesday, December 3. Fans of the brand can expect the same unique and vibrant shopping experience that has made le PÈRE a favorite among fashion-forward individuals.
