BAPE and Bounty Hunter Team Up for Fourth Collaboration
After the successful release of its original shark full-zip hoodie earlier this month, A Bathing Ape (BAPE) is back with another exciting collaboration. This time, the Japanese streetwear brand has joined forces with Bounty Hunter, the fashion and toy label led by Hikaru Iwanaga.
BAPE x Bounty Hunter: A Match Made in Streetwear Heaven
The co-branded line features a range of logo-laden coats, hoodies, and shirts, all modeled by Iwanaga himself in the campaign. The hero piece of the collection is a brown varsity jacket with bold “BH” block lettering on the chest and joint iconography on the body. The jacket also pays tribute to the founding years of both brands, with a “93” patch for BAPE and a “95” patch for Bounty Hunter. On the back, the words “Bathing Hunter” are stitched, celebrating the collaboration between the two labels.
From Hoodies to Footwear: A Diverse Collection
The collection also includes a shark hoodie featuring both brands’ logos, a monochromatic black snowboarding jacket with subtle shark motifs on the hood, and t-shirts with collaborative graphics like shark faces and “Baby Milo” illustrations. In the footwear department, the collaboration offers the Sharksta, a black leather and mesh sneaker with dual logos on the tongue and heel, and the Skull Shoe, inspired by a vintage BAPE design from the ’90s, featuring collaborative iconography in the same locations.
