Kiko Kostadinov Takes Over LA with New Flagship Store

After making waves with his first permanent store in Tokyo earlier this year, London-based Bulgarian designer Kiko Kostadinov is now making his mark in America with a brand new flagship store in Los Angeles, California.

Located in the trendy Melrose Hill gallery district, the storefront is a continuation of the same cutting-edge design aesthetic that artist Ryan Trecartin created for Kostadinov’s Tokyo location. The store will evolve over time through a two-part visual narrative, giving shoppers a unique and ever-changing experience.

For its grand opening, the store will enter its first phase, called “Draft Settings,” which will feature a “production proxy” theme. This will include elements such as “used” scaffolding, placeholder materials, and photorealistic renderings, giving the impression that the store is still under construction. As the store evolves, Trecartin will collaborate with local LA artisans to create a permanent installation, which will be revealed over the course of Spring 2025.

The Los Angeles store will carry Kostadinov’s full range of products, including clothing, handbags, accessories, footwear, and special projects for both men and women. The store is now open at its new location, and shoppers can expect a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
