Update: Noah Lyles Reveals Bad Bunny’s Latest Campaign with adidas

It’s been a few weeks since Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles first teased Bad Bunny’s collaboration with adidas, and now we have even more exciting news. The highly anticipated release of the hybrid Adizero SL72 in an off-white colorway is expected to drop this weekend, and sneaker photographer Tyler Mansour, aka @arab_lincoln, has given us a sneak peek at two additional colorways from the project. Along with the off-white pair, we can expect to see blue/yellow and maroon/orange versions, all featuring “Para Bad Bunny” branding at the lateral Three Stripes and the adidas Originals Trefoil logo and classic Three Stripes logo at the heel. While the release date is still expected to be December 15, keep an eye out for official confirmation from adidas and select retailers.

Original Story: Noah Lyles Rocks Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL72 at F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix

Noah Lyles, the world’s fastest man, made a statement at the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix this past weekend. Representing Ferrari, Lyles was spotted wearing the highly anticipated Bad Bunny x adidas Originals collaboration, the Adizero SL72. This is the first time we’ve seen the shoe, which combines design elements from the classic SL72 with a modern Adizero bottom and layered detailing. Lyles was wearing the “Off White/Chalk/Wonder White” colorway, featuring a monochromatic design with pops of blue branding and a black embellishment on the heel. The upper of the shoe stays true to the classic SL72, while the midsole features a rough-hewn mesh seam that leads to a more modern running shoe design with wide mesh, shaggy suede overlays, and lined details on the heel. The shoe is completed with a trim midsole. Lyles has been vocal about wanting his own signature sneaker from adidas, not just track spikes, and has expressed frustration with the lack of recognition for track stars in the sneaker industry. However, he seems to be a fan of Bad Bunny’s work with adidas. While early reports suggest a December 15 release for three colorways, this has yet to be confirmed by adidas. Stay tuned for more information on the Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL72.
