GOAT Takes Over Art Basel as Official Global Host Uniform Partner
The world-renowned fashion platform, GOAT, is making its mark in the art world as the official Global Host Uniform Partner for Art Basel. And for the highly anticipated 2024 Miami Beach show, GOAT is unveiling its second host uniform concept, featuring the exclusive artwork of Los Angeles-based ceramics artist Diana Yesenia Alvarado.
Embracing Mexican Heritage and Childhood Memories
Alvarado’s designs are heavily influenced by her Mexican heritage and childhood memories of growing up in Los Angeles. Her uniform artwork incorporates mythological forms, such as feline-inspired creatures, evoking a sense of quiet strength and curiosity. The designs strike a perfect balance between subtlety and playfulness, reflecting Alvarado’s dedication to fostering meaningful connections through her creative process.
A Glimpse into Alvarado’s Creative Process
Complementing the uniforms is a tote bag featuring an airbrushed, abstract color study, offering a textured and interpretive glimpse into Alvarado’s artistic approach. This collaboration with GOAT marks a transformative moment in her career, as she is able to bring her visual language into a more immediate medium. Debuting at Art Basel Miami Beach and Beyond
The new uniforms will make their debut at Art Basel Miami Beach from December 6 to December 8 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
