Omar Apollo’s Acting Debut in Queer Gets a Deeper Look in Final Trailer

The highly anticipated release of Omar Apollo’s song “Te Maldigo” in Luca Guadagnino’s Queer has fans buzzing with excitement. And now, A24 has dropped a final trailer that offers a deeper look into the surreal gay romance.

At the start of the trailer, eager fans finally get more previews of Apollo’s role in the movie, including a steamy scene with none other than Daniel Craig. But that’s not all, viewers also get a proper glimpse at the blossoming relationship between Drew Starkey and fs as William Lee and Eugene Allteron, respectively.

Queer is Guadagnino’s adaptation of William S. Burroughs’ famous novel, which follows the hedonic and romantic pursuits of a gay American expat in 1950s Mexico City. The new trailer showcases more of the director’s signature surreal touches, as well as scenes from the duo’s wild trip through South America, which closely follows the novel’s plot.

For those eager to catch the film, Queer hits select theaters tonight, November 26. Ticket information can be found at Fandango and other box-office ticket distributors. And for those who can’t make it to the theater, stay tuned for updates on eventual streaming availability. This is one film you won’t want to miss.
