Introducing the adidas Jabbar “Suede Pack”: A Classic Gets a Holiday Makeover
Get ready sneakerheads, because adidas is bringing back a blast from the past with the reintroduction of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s signature model. And just in time for the holidays, the brand is releasing a new “Suede Pack” featuring high and low-top versions of the iconic 1978 basketball shoe. But this time, instead of the usual leather construction, the shoes are decked out in luxurious suede.
The Jabbar High comes in a bold royal blue colorway, while the Jabbar Low offers two options: a rich red and a crisp kelly green. All three styles feature cream-colored Three Stripe graphics on the midfoot, as well as cream laces and heel tabs. The only difference between the high and low-top versions is the tongue, with the high-top keeping it tonal and the low-tops opting for a contrasting color.
But the real standout feature of these kicks is the gold foil illustration of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s signature skyhook on the tongue. As the first basketball player to have his face on a sneaker, Abdul-Jabbar holds a special place in sneaker history, making these shoes a must-have for any collector.
The adidas Jabbar “Suede Pack” will be available on the brand’s website starting December 5, with the low-top models priced at $100 USD and the high-top at $110 USD. Don’t miss your chance to add a touch of suede to your sneaker rotation this holiday season.
