Weber Teams Up with Junji Ito for Spooky Tomie Manga Collection
Weber, the popular streetwear brand, is joining forces with renowned horror manga artist Junji Ito to bring fans a chilling new collaboration. The collection, inspired by Ito’s iconic series Tomie, features two T-shirts adorned with key visuals from the first and second volumes of the manga.
Using traditional silkscreen printing, the designs aim to capture the eerie essence of Ito’s original work. The Tomie logo is even given a unique font, not typically seen in the series, and the artist’s signature is featured on the collar.
To celebrate the launch, Ito will be hosting a live drawing session at the Rose Bakery in Dover Street Market Ginza on November 28. While applications to attend have already closed, fans can still catch a glimpse of the artwork when it is displayed in the store on November 30. The Junji Ito x Weber Tomie collection will be available for presale at Dover Street Market Ginza on November 30, and then on the Weber website on December 1 for ¥11,000 JPY (approximately $70 USD). Don’t miss your chance to snag a piece of this spooky collaboration!
