Our Legacy WORK SHOP Releases A.1 WORK SHOP CRAFT Collection, Revamping Existing Garments with Unique Details and Handcrafted Touches
The Swedish contemporary brand’s special studio, Our Legacy WORK SHOP, has just dropped their latest collection, A.1 WORK SHOP CRAFT. This collection features a range of products for both men and women, including accessories and footwear, all made from existing Our Legacy garments that have been reimagined and reconstructed.
The studio carefully hand-picked each garment from their archives, exploring different ways to renew and refresh the individual styles. The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces, each with its own unique character and story. The garments have been updated with overdyes, experimental washes, and handcrafted details and embellishments, giving them a lived-in feel.
One standout piece is the Aero Jacket, made from Italian canvas and overdyed for a distinct patina that will develop over time with regular wear. The Cropped Biker Trench, crafted from French Corduroy, also features an overdye treatment for a unique look. The Reversed Borrowed Shirt is another standout, with a patchwork design featuring Our Legacy’s Antique Wallpaper Print reconstructed in reverse. This shirt also boasts mother-of-pearl buttons, mitered cuffs, and a curved hem.
The collection is not afraid to play with color, as seen in the Work Shop Vest. This piece features a hand-knitted puzzle pattern completed at the atelier, along with an intarsia Yin Yang logo. In the footwear department, the Camion Mule in Brown Portuguese Leather stands out with its hand-painted and distressed finish. And for accessories, Our Legacy gets creative with raw-edge denim leg gaiters and chaps made from vintage Our Legacy trousers.
