NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Low “Kintsugi” Pack: Celebrating Imperfections
The highly anticipated collaboration between NIGO and Nike is finally here, and it’s all about embracing imperfections. The new “Kintsugi” Pack draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese art of Kintsugi, which uses gold to repair broken pottery and highlight its flaws. This unique collection features two mismatched colorways, each showcasing contrasting textures and tones.
The first colorway, Bamboo/Multi-Color-Gum Medium Brown, combines soft phantom white and beige for a clean and classic look. The second colorway, Phantom/Bamboo-Night Stadium, features a marbled dark grey paired with phantom white. Both sneakers are accented with a gold line that divides the two colors, mimicking the Kintsugi effect.
As with previous NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 collaborations, each shoe boasts a unique heel tab, with one marked “NIGO” and the other “OGIN.” The premium tumbled leather and textured overlays on the upper give the silhouette a ceramic-like feel. The sail midsoles add to the aged aesthetic, while the gum-rubber outsoles provide a classic touch. Tonal laces, co-branded insoles, and themed packaging complete the pack.
While an exact release date is yet to be confirmed, the NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Low “Kintsugi” Pack is expected to drop during the upcoming Holiday season.
