Carhartt WIP and Nicholas Daley Team Up for a Fall/Winter 2025 Capsule Collection
For Fall/Winter 2025, Carhartt WIP has joined forces with fashion designer Nicholas Daley to create a 13-piece capsule collection. This collaboration celebrates Daley’s core values of community, craftsmanship, and culture, while paying tribute to his parents’ 1972 “Reggae Klub” with Jamaican and Scottish heritage. The collection, launching on October 23, features updated workwear, tartan record bags, and custom pins.
A Shared Appreciation for Music Culture
The collaboration between Carhartt WIP and Nicholas Daley is rooted in a shared love for music culture. Daley, known for his functional, workwear-inspired designs with a subcultural sensibility, infuses subtle references to both Jamaica and Scotland throughout the collection. The color palette includes rich blues, greens, and mustard yellows, inspired by the St Andrew’s Cross flags.
Key Pieces and Design Cues
The collection includes a reimagined Carhartt WIP chore coat in navy corduroy and indigo denim with contrast stitching, as well as updated versions of the Vest and Double Knee Pant. Custom pin badges, t-shirts, and a record bag featuring a custom tartan print, created in collaboration with Daley’s mother’s knitting circle, pay homage to musical ephemera. An emphasis on ancestral craftsmanship is also seen in a short harrington-style jacket. The collection is completed with a set of incense sticks made in collaboration with Japanese incense manufacturer Kuumba International, featuring scents inspired by the natural outdoors of Jamaica and Scotland.
