Zalando and Nike Team Up for “Stride Haus” Experience in Berlin Marathon Weekend
This month, runners from all over the world flocked to the streets of Berlin for the annual marathon weekend. To celebrate the event, Zalando and Nike joined forces to create “Stride Haus,” a series of activations located at Kurfürstendamm 210. This fashion-forward space was designed for runners who value both style and performance, offering a unique and creative marathon experience.
Your Choice Lounge: Find the Perfect Fit for Your Running Style
At “Stride Haus,” guests were treated to an unparalleled pre-run experience. The installation was divided into three zones, each offering a variety of engaging activities. In the Your Choice Lounge, visitors received expert advice from staff to determine which of the three Nike shoes would best suit their running style. Whether it was the Vomero Plus for maximum cushioning, the Pegasus Premium for an energized run, or the Structure 26 for optimal stability, runners were able to find the perfect fit for their needs.
Style Atelier: Personalize Your Performance-Wear Look
The Style Atelier zone featured Berlin-based designers Jun Mayers and Noemi Braun, who hosted an exclusive workshop. Here, runners were able to customize their performance-wear looks with pieces crafted using the duo’s signature draping and playful fabric creations, inspired by the city’s unique take on running.
The Beauty Workroom: Final Touches Before the Start Line
In The Beauty Workroom, guests were treated to professional hairstyling, nail art, and SPF application to add the finishing touches to their look before hitting the start line.
The Motion Studio: Test Your Running Fit
The experience culminated in The Motion Studio, where guests could try out their running fit on a purpose-built, cinematic treadmill. Guided by a movement coach, runners were able to test their gear and make any necessary adjustments before the big race.
