New York Designer Thom Browne Takes Over Paris Fashion Week with Extraterrestrial Collection
Thom Browne has once again proven himself as a fashion force to be reckoned with, as he landed his Spring/Summer 2026 spaceship at Paris Fashion Week. But this time, it wasn’t just any ordinary runway show – Browne’s models were otherworldly creatures, decked out in bedazzled alien heads and extra tentacles.
As guests, including celebrities Rachel Zegler and Law Roach, stepped into the Thom Browne universe, they were greeted by frozen spaceship workers. But this was just the beginning of Browne’s out-of-this-world collection.
The designer ventured into the unknown, inviting space invaders to touch down on Earth in the most stylish way possible. Each foreign creature strutted down the runway holding numbered signs to identify their looks, showcasing Browne’s signature striped tailoring with exaggerated waistbands and multiple arm and leg compartments.
But it wasn’t just about the stripes – silver-headed beings showed off painted mesh torsos, while preppy uniforms were blown up to celestial proportions. Bright-hued blazers were paired with fringed coats and oversized neckties, while others were shrunken to fit petite extraterrestrials. Balloon skirts brushed against patchwork uniforms and immense sports coats, all leading up to the grand finale of lavish silver gowns and metallic tennis sets.
Thom Browne’s extravagant display of transcendental fashion left the audience in awe, making it one of the most jaw-dropping runways of the season. Take a closer look at the collection in the gallery above and prepare to be transported to another world.
