Isabel Marant Takes Paris Fashion Week by Storm with Desert-Inspired Collection

Parisian powerhouse Isabel Marant closed the fourth day of Paris Fashion Week with a showstopping display at Place Colette. The designer’s latest collection takes the Isabel Marant woman on a journey through the desert, dressed in rugged yet stylish gear that can withstand the heat and isolation of the sands.

As guests, including celebrities Iris Law and Paris Hilton, looked on, models strutted down dusty pathways to the beat of Little Simz’s “Mood Swings.” The opening look set the tone for the collection, featuring a patched overshirt layered over pocketed cargos and cinched with a double-belt.

Marant’s signature bohemian aesthetic was evident throughout the collection, with textured bombers, sheer tanks, and glittering metallic knits adding a touch of glamour to the desert-inspired pieces.

The menswear pieces exuded effortless sensuality, with slouchy silhouettes, open-stitch knits, and suede-and-leather trousers, paired with sun-worn beige anoraks. The womenswear pieces shimmered with soft textures and neutral hues, featuring frayed dresses, sensual swimwear, and delicately embroidered pieces.

Isabel Marant’s SS26 collection is a testament to her ability to create a wardrobe that is both functional and alluring. With desert-proof signatures, the designer proves that her wanderer never walks alone. Take a closer look at the collection in the gallery above.
