A Celebration of Abloh’s Legacy
The Virgil Abloh: The Codes exhibit is a celebration of the designer’s multidisciplinary legacy, chronicling nearly two decades of his creative practice. Curated by Chloe Sultan and Mahfuz Sultan, the exhibit showcases never-before-seen original prototypes, sketches, images, and other ephemera from throughout Abloh’s career, as well as pieces from his personal collections and library.
Collaborative T-Shirts and Star-Studded Support
As an expanded edition of the 2022 exhibit of the same name, The Codes highlights how Abloh’s “codes” carry across all of his artistic endeavors, whether solo or collaborative. The exhibit also features new collaborative t-shirts, including designs from Stray Rats, Cactus Plant Flea Market, Babylon, L’Art de L’Automobile, and Colette. The opening of the exhibit, which coincided with what would have been Abloh’s 55th birthday, was attended by some of the biggest names in fashion, footwear, and culture, including Pharrell, Shawn Stussy, Travis Scott, and Futura.
