Stella McCartney Takes Paris Fashion Week by Storm with Iconic “Come Together” Collection

British designer Stella McCartney has solidified her status as one of the most influential talents of our time, and she’s not afraid to show it. On Tuesday evening, a star-studded audience including Ice Spice, Cara Delevingne, and Horse Girl gathered at the Centre Pompidou to witness the grand spectacle that closed the second night of Paris Fashion Week.

The highly-anticipated show, titled “Come Together,” paid tribute to McCartney’s iconic legacy. The evening kicked off with a powerful recital of The Beatles’ 1969 anthem of the same name by British actress Helen Mirren, setting the tone for a collection that seamlessly blended strength and playfulness. From sharp tailored suits to whimsical confetti dresses and double-layered denim, each look exuded McCartney’s signature rebellious edge with a touch of festive celebration.

The runway was brought to life by a remixed version of “Come Together,” as models strutted down in a lineup of fifty looks that showcased McCartney’s trademark styles. Poplin tailoring with exaggerated shoulders, oversized fuzzy coats, sparkling sequined structures, and patchwork denim reminiscent of past decades were just a few of the standout pieces. The collection also redefined everyday wear with double-layered shirting and slouchy jeans, while monumental trench coats, coordinated workwear, and daringly slashed tops added a touch of skin-baring allure.

The show’s finale was a showstopper, with American model Alex Consani closing the show in a dramatic purple feathered dress. It was the perfect exclamation point on a collection bursting with celebratory energy. Get an up-close look at Stella McCartney’s SS26 collection in the gallery above.
