adidas and Hypegolf Unite New York’s Golf Community with Exclusive Happy Hour Event

On September 25, adidas and Hypegolf joined forces to bring together New York’s golf enthusiasts at the Hypegolf Clubhouse in SoHo. The invite-only happy hour event showcased the final chapter of the 2025 Originals Golf apparel and footwear collection, which will be available for purchase on adidas.com starting October 1.

A Cultural and Stylish Gathering

With the city’s golf culture thriving, especially during this fall season with major tournaments, simulator lounges, and streetwear-inspired fashion, the event served as a product showcase and a cultural checkpoint. As the original sports brand, adidas used this opportunity to highlight how its heritage continues to influence style beyond the golf course.

A Fashionable Range

Inside the Clubhouse, guests were treated to an elevated range of apparel and footwear that combines bold seasonal colors with adidas’ classic design language. The collection featured signature pieces like the men’s Knit Stripe Polo, Velour Long Sleeve, Graphic Knit Vest, and Down Jacket, as well as women’s staples such as the Knit Polo, Trefoil Sweater, and Down Vest. The footwear selection was also a standout, with timeless silhouettes like the Samba Golf and Gazelle, as well as technical newcomers like the ZX8000 GTX Golf. Accessories such as head covers, gloves, and bags completed the range, showcasing how this runway-inspired collection offers complete styling options for modern golfers.

A Touch of Competition

The event also included a closest-to-the-pin challenge on the in-house golf simulator, giving attendees a chance to test their swing. Winners were rewarded with a full head-to-toe prize package from the final drop of the fall/winter range of adidas Originals Golf. The event had a social edge, highlighting how golf activations in New York have become less formal and more inclusive, creating spaces where culture and sport intersect.

A Diverse Crowd

The event was attended by figures who bridge the worlds of golf and culture, including TV host Ben Lyons, sport host and content creator Kinsey Wolanski, motion artist Goldyeller, pro golfer Cailyn Henderson, and comedian LouLou Gonzalez. Other industry names like Ellie Skoog, Chris Trott, and Matt Cardis were also present, showcasing the diversity of voices contributing to golf’s renaissance in the city.

A New Era of Golf

By featuring both men’s and women’s apparel and celebrating athletes alongside artists and creators, adidas and Hypegolf reinforced that golf in 2025 is less about tradition and more about personal expression, both on and off the course.
