On, BEAMS, and REI have joined forces to release a highly-anticipated capsule collection featuring technical gear, apparel, and footwear. The collection, which includes standout pieces like the Cloudultra 3 and Cloudrock Low shoes, will be available starting September 25 with prices ranging from $60 to $499 USD.
Swiss Performance Meets American Heritage and Japanese Design
Following the success of last year’s On x BEAMS collaboration, this limited-edition collection brings together the best of Swiss performance innovation, American outdoor heritage, and Japanese design sensibility. The result is a head-to-toe collection that seamlessly blends cutting-edge function with everyday style.
From City Streets to Rugged Trails
The collection features a range of technical apparel and footwear, including the Cloudultra 3 Trail Running Shoes and Cloudrock Low Waterproof Hiking Shoes. But it doesn’t stop there – signature pieces like the Club Hoodie, Trek Jacket, and Trek Pants are also included, along with outdoor camp essentials like the Speed Pack 18L, Base Camp 4 Tent, Flexlight Camp Chair, Zephyr 25 Sleeping Bag, and Helix Insulated Air Sleeping Pad.

The collection pays homage to three iconic mountains – the Matterhorn, Mount Fuji, and Mount Rainier – with a unique three-mountain graphic. The color palette, inspired by REI’s Living Archive, features faded-denim hues and earthy neutrals, giving the collection a timeless and well-worn appeal.

Julia Sieter, global head of collaborations at On, explains the brand’s goal: “to inspire the human spirit through movement.” Isabelle Portilla, REI’s vice president of Co-op Brands, adds, “This collection reflects a fresh take on outdoor culture through camping, running, and lifestyle.” Keita Kobayashi, BEAMS Men’s Casual Buyer, also notes that the collaboration allows wearers to “enjoy the outdoors in their own way across a variety of scenes.”
