G-STAR Unleashes Anatomic Denim Range for the New Season
Dutch fashion brand G-STAR is back and better than ever with their latest launch, the Anatomic Denim range. This collection stays true to the brand’s core philosophy of movement and the human body, with sharp architectural lines and new models like the Contor and Kitoh silhouette. But this release is more than just a product launch – it’s a whole new creative vision. G-STAR has teamed up with art director Jordan Hemingway and taxidermists Darwin, Sinke & van Tongeren for two special collaborations that showcase the technicality and versatility of denim. Hemingway’s dynamic campaign captures athletes in the latest pieces, highlighting form and function by removing their typical equipment. Meanwhile, Darwin, Sinke & van Tongeren have created a stunning sculpture of a gorilla covered in denim panels, blurring the lines between fabric and body. This unique artwork has been displayed at Amsterdam Fashion Week and CIFF Copenhagen, and is now on view at the Art Zoo Museum in Amsterdam. Hemingway reflects on the project, saying “G-STAR is a brand with real heritage, but what makes them exciting is their appetite for reinvention and boundary-pushing. This project was exhilarating in every sense, full of creative and technical challenges that demanded invention. Working closely with their team to solve them wasn’t just rewarding – it was a joy.” Don’t miss out on this groundbreaking campaign – check out the gallery above and shop the Anatomic Denim range on G-STAR’s website and at select retailers.
