Turkish Designer Dilara Fındıkoğl Takes Her Brand to New Heights with SS26 Collection
Known for her edgy and intricate punk-inspired couture, Turkish designer Dilara Fındıkoğl has once again pushed the boundaries with her latest collection. This season, she surprised fans by exploring a lighter color palette, incorporating nudes, pinks, and whites into her typically dark aesthetic.
Fındıkoğl’s signature deconstructed silhouettes were given a fresh twist with antique-inspired ruffled cuffs, sheer fabrics, and playful details like silicone cherries. But don’t be fooled, this shift was not about softening the brand’s edge, but rather elevating it through empowering juxtapositions.
Baby doll dresses were paired with horse-bit headpieces, pink latex clung to white lace in statement skirts and dresses, and dramatic 19th-century-inspired ruffles erupted from jackets. Subtle gothic spikes adorned bangles and belts, defining the new territory for the brand.
But that’s not all – this season also marked the debut of bags in the ready-to-wear line. Crafted with the same couture-level techniques, these bags seamlessly integrated into the collection, hanging effortlessly from the models’ arms to complete the looks. This signals the brand’s thoughtful expansion into everyday wear.
