LEGO Masters Academy: Where Brick Masterpieces Come to Life
The wait is over, LEGO fans! The highly anticipated LEGO Masters Academy has officially opened its doors at the LEGO House in Billund, Denmark. This one-of-a-kind experience offers visitors the chance to learn real techniques from LEGO designers and master builders, making it a must-visit destination for any LEGO enthusiast.
Inspired by the popular LEGO Masters TV show, the academy is a creative studio that offers a hands-on building experience like no other. With different levels of workshops available, there’s something for everyone, from playful family sessions to advanced builds focused on structure and detail.
The academy is located within the LEGO House, also known as the Home of the Brick, making it the perfect setting for unleashing your creativity. Currently, visitors can choose between the Level 2 experience, “Build Me Up,” which encourages collaboration, design thinking, and playful storytelling, or Level 3, “Around the Bricks We Go,” for more advanced builders looking to hone their skills.
But that’s not all – the academy has plans to expand with Level 1 and Level 4 workshops set to open in 2026. According to Kathrine Kirk Muff, Managing Director of LEGO House, the academy is a celebration of the fans who have shaped the LEGO brand with their creativity. “Our hope is that every visitor leaves inspired, confident, and ready to build in new ways they never imagined before,” she says.
