Jane Wade Takes Workwear to the Next Level for Spring/Summer 2026: “THE FULFILLMENT”
Jane Wade is back at it again, pushing the boundaries of workwear for her Spring/Summer 2026 collection. But this time, she’s taking it down a notch – all the way to the bottom line. Wade’s latest presentation, titled “THE FULFILLMENT,” explores the concept of labor as currency, with a focus on the workers in the warehouse fulfillment basement.
“All of my collections revolve around workwear in some way,” Wade shared with us after the show, which was held in a literal warehouse in Brooklyn. “But for this one, I really wanted to bring it down to the ground floor – the labor workers, punching in and out, and all the nuances of time.”
The collection features officewear as armor, giving the wearer a sense of invisibility when suited up. The show kicked off with a timer projected onto the warehouse walls, and the final model even donned a timer as part of her closing look. “I wanted this to feel like the Jane Wade Inc Fulfillment Center. Everyone is clocked in and getting to work,” Wade explained. “We’re selling our time and laboring bodies for money, and that translates through the fabrics and finishings. You’ll see a lot of padded materials and tactile pieces. I wanted to make clothes that work for us, not the other way around.”
The tech-y theme continues with collaborations with Lingo (a glucose monitoring-biosensor) and Nothing, as Wade once again seamlessly integrates technology devices into wearable fashion. The collection also includes a lineup of Jane Wade x SOREL collab footwear models.
