FECDA Nominations and a Killer Presentation: Eckhaus Latta Takes Over New York Fashion Week
Fresh off their first-ever CFDA nomination for menswear designer of the year, Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta brought their A-game to New York City’s coolest crowd. The venue, a three-story walk-up on Walker Street, was packed with fashion’s elite, all eager to see what the dynamic duo had in store for their most polished presentation yet.
The show notes were short and sweet, with a cryptic message that read, “God has a plan. We are all waitresses in his sick little restaurant.” But the collection spoke volumes, with a light and airy vibe that was evident in both the menswear and womenswear pieces. The moodboard was filled with layers and loose tailoring, creating a breathable essence that carried throughout the entire show.
The show kicked off with a series of monochromatic looks, featuring sheer fabrics paired with classic denim pieces, sleek suiting, and loosely tailored trousers. Then came the standout cut-out tees, exposing just the right amount of skin around the abdominal area. The finale was a burst of vibrant red and orange looks, with Eckhaus and Latta taking their final bow in all-white ensembles. Latta even had her newborn baby in tow, adding an extra dose of cool to the already hip presentation.
While the label may be growing up a bit, its effortless aura was still very much present. Models donned eye masks, flip flops, and one even smoked a joint as she strutted down the runway. The Spring/Summer 2026 collection from Eckhaus Latta is a must-see, and we’ve got all the runway images for you to get a closer look.
