COS’s FW25 Collection: Minimalism Meets Classic Fall Fabrics at NYFW

COS, the beloved minimalist label, brought its FW25 collection to the runway at New York Fashion Week, showcasing 47 sleek and sophisticated looks that transcend age and time. Against a stark white stage at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn, models strutted in a range of minimalist ensembles, updated with classic autumnal elements.

In keeping with its signature minimalistic style, the collection featured a refined color palette of rich black, charcoal, and deep sea navy. These subdued hues allowed the diversity of the silhouettes to take center stage, from sharp tailoring to elegantly draped pieces.

The collection’s austere tone, represented by matte and lustrous solids, was balanced by the use of cozy fall fabrics. Various checked patterns and shearling outerwear added warmth and texture to the looks, while materials like basketweave knits and chenille provided a tactile quality.

The juxtaposition of futuristic minimalism and nostalgic charm was evident throughout the collection. A collarless blazer and buttonless placket on a black two-piece suit exuded a modern edge, while robe collars and flowing capes evoked the elegance of olden days or even ascetic vestments.

The COS FW25 collection is now available at COS stores and cos.com, with limited quantities dropping throughout the season. Don’t miss your chance to add these timeless pieces to your wardrobe.
