Our Legacy WORK SHOP and Converse have joined forces to create a new version of the iconic Chuck 70 sneaker. The design celebrates imperfections and pays homage to vintage Chuck Taylors, resulting in a unique and elevated silhouette.
The Work Shop Chuck 70: A Tribute to Imperfection
The Work Shop Chuck 70 is a reimagining of Converse’s most classic sneaker, with a focus on embracing the human element in design. The release includes two versions: a dark Espresso and an undyed Natural, both made from organic cotton canvas.
A Nod to the Past
In a nod to a previous collaboration, the shoe features a concealed Chuck Taylor patch on the medial interior, with a clean, embroidered Work Shop yin yang logo in its place. Jockum Hallin, founder of Our Legacy and creative director of Our Legacy WORK SHOP, explains that the design pays tribute to classic sneakers by incorporating imperfections that were common in Chuck Taylors from the 1960s to 1980s.
