UNNA x HOKA Speedgoat 2: A Whimsical Collaboration for Trail Runners
Swedish running brand UNNA has joined forces with sneaker label HOKA to create a playful twist on the popular Speedgoat 2. The new colorways, set to release on September 10 (UNNA) and September 19 (HOKA), feature detachable critter charms for a touch of whimsy.
The collaboration introduces two new color options, each with its own unique charm. The Astral/Galaxy colorway comes with rubber caterpillar charms, symbolizing transformation and growth. Meanwhile, the Sea Ice/Cosmic Grey colorway features technicolor lace charms for a pop of color.
UNNA founder John-Ruben Holtback shared his excitement for the collaboration, stating that the Speedgoat 2 has been his go-to trail shoe for over five years. He believes that the collaboration with HOKA is not only natural but essential in inspiring more people to move and feel good about themselves.
The Speedgoat 2, inspired by record-breaking trail runner Karl Meltzer, features an engineered mesh upper with low-profile protective overlays. The toe boxes are printed with the phrase “GOOD PLACE” as a gentle reminder that it’s not about finishing first, but feeling good about yourself. For safety, the Vibram® Megagrip outsole provides traction, and reflective webbing ensures visibility on the streets.
The UNNA x HOKA Speedgoat 2 will be available for purchase on September 12 at UNNA.com and Knees Up, as well as HOKA.com and select retailers on September 19.
