Awake NY Pays Homage to Lower East Side Community with New Footwear Offering
New York City label Awake NY is back with a bang, and this time they’re celebrating their hometown with a fresh new lookbook. Titled “Our Block To Your Block,” the campaign features the brand’s latest footwear offering, the Jordan V Boro, worn by local figures from the Lower East Side community.
The Jordan V Boro takes center stage in the campaign, available in two eye-catching colorways of pink and blue. But that’s not all – the shoe also comes in a hybrid boot silhouette, adding a unique twist to the classic Air Jordan 5 design.
Since its establishment in 2023, Awake NY has become a prominent force in the streetwear scene, with its flagship store located on Orchard Street. And now, the brand is giving back to its community by showcasing the shoe on the streets and feet of its very own neighborhood.
The campaign features a lineup of LES legends, including founders of LAAMS and workers from Scarr’s Pizza, all shot in front of iconic storefronts such as Ron David Studio and Las’ Lap. With the mantra “Community builds immunity,” Awake NY is highlighting the importance of local support and unity.
