This season, Milan’s Spring Fashion Week will be the stage for some major debuts, including Demna for Gucci, Dario Vitale for Versace, Louise Trotter for Bottega Veneta, and Simone Bellotti for Jil Sander.

Glenn Martens’ Diesel Show Kicks Off the Week

The week will kick off with Glenn Martens’ Diesel show, followed by Gucci’s highly anticipated debut on September 23 at 7 pm. Former Balenciaga creative director Demna is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the iconic brand, with a collection that pays homage to Gucci’s roots. However, fans will have to wait until March for Demna’s true debut, where he will officially put his stamp on the brand.

Simone Bellotti Takes the Helm at Jil Sander

On September 24, Simone Bellotti will make his debut as creative director of Jil Sander. The designer has been teasing his collection with a music video and EP, leading viewers to anticipate a music-centered theme. Prada will keep its usual 2 pm slot on September 25, while Versace, the latest acquisition of Prada Group, will unveil Dario Vitale’s first collection on September 26. This show will be a more intimate affair and is not currently featured on the preliminary schedule.

Louise Trotter Makes Her Mark at Bottega Veneta

On September 28 at 5 pm, Bottega Veneta will embark on its next chapter as Louise Trotter, formerly of Carven, makes her debut for the Italian leather goods brand. Later that evening, at 7 pm, Armani will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special runway show at Palazzo Brera, located in the heart of Milan’s design district.
