Central Cee Fronts the Lookbook for OVO x Chelsea FC Capsule Collection
Drake’s October’s Very Own has joined forces with Chelsea FC to bring a unique Toronto-meets-London clothing collaboration. The collection features OVO x Chelsea FC branded tops, hoodies, and accessories and is now available at both OVO and Chelsea FC stores. And just days after headlining Wireless Festival in London, Drake is showing even more love to the UK by teaming up with fellow rapper Central Cee for the launch of this limited-edition apparel.
The lookbook, fronted by Central Cee, perfectly captures the cross-continental mentality of the collaboration with the tagline “Two cities. One heartbeat.” The Instagram caption reads, “Rooted in legacy. Charged by passion. A collaboration where culture moves with confidence, and street style meets sport excellence.” This mindset is reflected in the apparel, which features a new logo that combines the OVO owl with Chelsea FC’s iconic insignia.
At the heart of the collection is the OVO x Chelsea Varsity Jacket, made in Canada with a mix of leather and wool and adorned with all-over embroidered patches. The capsule also includes short-sleeved and long-sleeved T-shirts, a Rugby shirt, a heavyweight hoodie, and a collaborative cap.
