At the beginning of the year, we reported on the rumored return of the Nike Air Max Plus VII. But now, it’s official – the Swoosh has confirmed that the iconic sneaker is making a comeback in its beloved “Varsity Maize” colorway. And we’ve got the first official images to prove it.
As expected, the shoe features a bold yellow base with liquid-like dotting throughout the upper, shifting from “Metallic Silver” to black at the heel. The Air-infused sole unit boasts a white midsole, visible yellow Air units, and is supported by a black and semi-translucent outsole. It’s a classic colorway that’s sure to turn heads.

In celebration of 20 years of the Tuned Air series, Nike is bringing back one of its most iconic silhouettes – the Air Max Plus VII. First launched in 2005, the sneaker is making a comeback in its beloved “Varsity Maize” colorway in 2025.
The shoe features a bold yellow mesh upper with a unique dotted pattern that shifts from black to silver. The wavy TPU overlays add a touch of texture, while the white mini Swoosh stands out against the bright yellow.
