Brazilian Label P. Andrade Makes Historic Debut at Paris Fashion Week with SS26 Collection
Get ready to be blown away by the latest collection from Brazilian label P. Andrade, as it makes its highly anticipated debut at Paris Fashion Week. Titled “The Tree is Your Spine,” this Spring/Summer 2026 collection is a stunning blend of regeneration, ancestry, and futurism, featuring collaborations with renowned artists, scientists, and brands like Oakley, Levi’s, and PUMA.
Designers Pedro Andrade and Paula Kim have truly outdone themselves with this collection, which delves deep into themes of spirituality and ecology. Collaborating with Pernambuco-born artist Samuel de Sabóia, the collection’s visual and conceptual elements are elevated to new heights.
Inspired by Kundalini energy and Studio Ghibli’s iconic film, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, “The Tree is Your Spine” draws a symbolic connection between nature, technology, and spirituality. The collection features organic silhouettes and “living” textiles that reflect the cyclical rhythms of life, while incorporating digital codes embedded in smart fabrics for a futuristic touch.
But that’s not all – P. Andrade is also committed to sustainability and traceability, evident in their collaboration with textile engineer Micheline Maia Teixeira of R-INOVE. The collection features binary codes that are visible under UV light and readable via QR, storing blockchain data about the production chain.
Traditional Brazilian lace is reimagined in this collection as a symbol of cultural identity, woven into utilitarian forms that mimic the growth patterns of fungi and microorganisms. And in partnership with scientist Ailton Pereira from AIPER, the brand introduces biological dyeing techniques using native bacteria, replacing conventional pigments with non-toxic, regenerative processes.
