Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER Returns to Paris Fashion Week with Spring/Summer 2026 Collection
UNDERCOVER, the beloved fashion brand by Jun Takahashi, has made a triumphant return to Paris Fashion Week with its Spring/Summer 2026 men’s collection. Titled “but beautiful 4.5…”, the collection pays homage to the iconic “But Beautiful” collection from FW04, which also inspired UNDERCOVER’s women’s collection for Fall/Winter 2025.
The 51-look range features collaborations with Emma Bennett, OTW by Vans, Dickies, and Champion, adding a unique touch to Takahashi’s signature style.
Reinterpreting the Past for a Contemporary Collection
Jun Takahashi has once again graced Paris Fashion Week with his latest collection for UNDERCOVER. The Spring/Summer 2026 range, titled “but beautiful 4.5…”, takes inspiration from the “But Beautiful” collection from Fall/Winter 2004 and gives it a modern twist. This approach was also used for UNDERCOVER’s women’s collection for Fall/Winter 2025, resulting in a diverse range of silhouettes with curved seams that add a touch of elegance to the models’ looks.
Familiar motifs from UNDERCOVER’s past collections can be seen throughout, including references to singer Patti Smith and her iconic lyrics from “People Have The Power” featured on various garments.
Collaborations Galore
Collaborations are a key element of the 51-look collection, with UNDERCOVER teaming up with various brands to create unique pieces. Welsh painter Emma Bennett’s artwork is seamlessly integrated into the collection, adding a touch of otherworldliness that fans have come to love from UNDERCOVER over the past 30 years.
Champion and OTW by Vans are also back with more co-designed works, including new takes on the popular Slip-On and Sk8-Hi silhouettes. And for the first time, Dickies joins the UNDERCOVER universe, bringing its rugged workwear aesthetic to the collection. Takahashi’s use of graceful curved seams adds a delicate contrast to Dickies’ tough DNA.
