International Gallery BEAMS and U/MUSIC Team Up for Nas and De La Soul Capsule Collection
International Gallery BEAMS has joined forces with U/MUSIC to pay tribute to two of hip-hop’s most iconic artists, Nas and De La Soul. The collaboration features a collection of T-shirts that celebrate Nas’ Illmatic and De La Soul’s 3 Feet High and Rising albums.
Illmatic and 3 Feet High and Rising Take Center Stage
The capsule collection includes T-shirts that showcase the album titles and logos of Nas’ Illmatic and De La Soul’s 3 Feet High and Rising. The Illmatic shirts come in black or brown camo with the tracklist on the back, while the De La Soul shirts feature a four-photo collage or a monochromatic photograph on a black, gray, or navy blue background.
35 Years of De La Soul
Last year marked the 35th anniversary of De La Soul’s debut album, and the collection pays homage to this milestone with floral album logos on the front and back of the shirts.
