Nike Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Air Max 95 with Devin Booker’s “Neon”-Inspired Book 1 Colorway
Nike is pulling out all the stops for the 30th anniversary of the iconic Air Max 95. The brand has been dropping one in-line colorway or collaboration after another, and now Devin Booker is joining in on the festivities with his own Book 1 “Neon” colorway.
Booker first debuted the pair on Christmas Day in 2023, and it was recently announced that it will finally be released in fall 2025. But now, Nike has given us a complete look at the sneaker ahead of its rumored September 2025 launch.
The Book 1 “Neon” combines a gray upper with “Volt” Swooshes that match the semi-translucent outsole, while black accents the midsole. The shoe is expected to drop in September 2025 on Nike SNKRS and select retailers for a retail price of $140 USD.

Devin Booker has been wearing his first signature shoe, the Nike Book 1, since late 2023. And while fans eagerly await the reveal of a sequel, more colorways of the shoe are set to drop throughout 2025, including one that we first spotted over a year ago.

Devin Booker Pays Tribute to Air Max 95 with “Neon”-Inspired Book 1 Colorway
On Christmas Day, Devin Booker debuted a new colorway for his first signature shoe, the Nike Book 1. The latest iteration appears to be inspired by the iconic Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” colorway, bringing a sense of nostalgia to the courts for Book.
Booker unveiled his first signature shoe with the Swoosh earlier this year, but fans will have to wait until Spring 2024 to purchase it. However, Booker himself has already been wearing his signature shoe on the court.
At just 27 years old, Booker has been in the league for eight years and is now a three-time All-Star. He has even received All-NBA honors once. In a recent matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, Booker debuted the “Neon”-inspired Book 1s, paying direct tribute to the original 1995 classic sneaker.
The Air Max 95 holds a special place in Booker’s heart, as he grew up wearing it and it is his father’s favorite shoe. The Book 1 iteration features a quilted textile with smooth nubuck overlays in a cool grey colorway. The inner lining, laces, and mudguard are also in grey, while black accents the midsole. Neon hits the Swooshes, tongue tab, and heel, and the shoe sits atop a semi-translucent outsole.
