POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) Takes Pitti Uomo 108 by Storm with Avant-Garde Activewear and Refined Tailoring
South Korean streetwear label POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) made a bold statement at Pitti Uomo 108 in Florence, showcasing their unique blend of avant-garde activewear and refined tailoring. The brand’s debut at the international men’s trade fair was met with great enthusiasm, as they presented a detail-oriented reconstruction of classic sartorial pieces in a humble palette of materials and colors.
The runway presentation, titled “Drifters,” opened with a range of all-black tailored looks, featuring atypical suiting fabrics such as lustrous synthetics and soft boucle-like textiles. These pieces, including a minimal trench coat with a ruched closure, demonstrated the brand’s ability to elevate traditional menswear staples.
But PAF’s collection was not limited to just tailored pieces. Deconstructed suiting, asymmetrical draped tees, and dramatic frayed details added subtle interest to the lineup. Standout designs included a blazer with futuristic cutouts at the shoulder and a patinated leather flight jacket with sculptural ribbing at the waistband and cuffs.

As the show came to a close, sandy hues and half-dressed styling solidified the easy-going feel of the collection. A translucent cream shirt worn open with raw-hemmed linen trousers and bare feet evoked the image of someone strolling along the shoreline of a beach. The presentation’s finale, featuring a tan trench coat with avant-garde flair, perfectly encapsulated the brand’s fusion of tailored and relaxed elements.
While PAF has explored tailoring-inspired designs in previous collections, their debut at Pitti Uomo 108 marks a new level of luxury for the brand.
