Drake and Alex Moss Team Up for Luxurious “SSS” Diamond Collection
Hip-hop superstar Drake has once again teamed up with renowned jeweler Alex Moss to create a stunning new collection of diamond pieces. The “SSS” collection, which stands for Some Sexy Songs 4 U, is a celebration of Drake’s recent collaborative album with PARTYNEXTDOOR.
In an exclusive reveal for Hypebeast, Drake and Moss unveiled a jaw-dropping wallet chain set that goes beyond traditional pendants. This unique collection features iconic logos transformed into wearable art, all adorned with over 100 carats of VVS diamonds and precious stones.
The centerpiece of the collection is a modular wallet chain with three “S” renditions, each holding special significance for Drake. The Superman “S” is adorned with 34.64 carats of VVS blue and yellow diamonds, accented with red rubies. The Starter “S” shines with 35.92 carats of D-F VVS white and blue diamonds, while the Saskatchewan Roughriders “S” pays homage to the Canadian football team with 31.54 carats of D-F VVS white, green, and black diamonds.
Drake even gifted a matching all-white diamond version of the “SSS” set to PARTYNEXTDOOR. Moss also designed a custom double infinity loop chain that seamlessly links the three “S” pieces, with OVO Owl logos serving as clips for belt loop attachment. The wallet chain can also be transformed into a regular chain set by linking the clips together as a clasp.
But the luxurious collection doesn’t stop there. Moss also created a life-size Nokia phone keychain, encrusted with a whopping 54.5 carats of D-F VVS white diamonds and featuring a 3D homepage. This piece serves as both a companion to the “SSS” set and a nod to Drake’s hit single “Nokia,” complete with its own custom OVO Owl clip.
In an exclusive quote to Hypebeast, Moss shared the creative process behind these pieces, revealing that the project took around four months to complete and was discussed around the time of Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” album release. Moss also designed the custom OVO Owl clips to give the collection a total custom feel.
