Maharishi and Birkenstock Unveil Military-Inspired Sandal with Functional Features
Maharishi and Birkenstock have joined forces to create the ultimate sandal for both city strolls and outdoor adventures. The Mogami Terra Tech, set to release on May 30, combines military-grade design with practical features.
Black and Olive Sandals, M.A.L.I.C.E. Backpacks, and Tabi Socks
The Mogami Terra Tech sandal will be available in two colorways: black and olive. Along with the sandals, the collection will also include matching M.A.L.I.C.E. backpacks and intarsia tabi socks.
Military-Inspired Design
Maharishi has incorporated military-inspired elements into the design of the Mogami Terra Tech, taking inspiration from the U.S. Army’s design technologies from the 1960s. The campaign, shot by photographer Tyrone Lebon, showcases the sandal’s versatility and functional features in both urban and outdoor settings.
Detachable Crossbody Strap and Quick-Release Buckle
The Mogami Terra Tech features a detachable crossbody strap and a quick-release buckle, inspired by the M.A.L.I.C.E. system. This allows for easy carrying and stowing, making it perfect for barefoot breaks and travel.
All-Weather Upgrade
The sandal’s molded polyurethane sole offers an all-weather upgrade to Birkenstock’s signature anatomical footbed, ensuring comfort and durability in any climate.
Split-Toe Tabi Socks
In addition to the sandals, the collaboration also offers split-toe tabi socks in two colorways for cross-climate wear.
BIRKENSTOCK MAHARISHI M.A.L.I.C.E. Backpack
The collection includes the BIRKENSTOCK MAHARISHI M.A.L.I.C.E. backpack, featuring 3D external pouches, hidden side pockets, and an expandable design for extra storage. The bag also boasts a suspended laptop pocket and quick-release buckles.
