Jacquemus Launches Its Own Holdings Company, Valued at €576.1 Million EUR
Paris-based fashion brand Jacquemus is making major moves in the industry with the establishment of its own holdings company, Jacquemus La Maison Mère. Led by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, the company currently operates two branches: Jacquemus La Mode, the ready-to-wear business valued at €530 million EUR, and Jacquemus La Beauté, the beauty line valued at €46.1 million EUR.
From Boat Shoes to Bananas: Jacquemus Continues to Expand
Jacquemus has been making headlines with its recent collaborations and campaigns. The brand teamed up with Timberland for a boat shoe collection and released a playful campaign featuring actor Jon Gries surrounded by bananas. It has also been expanding its presence with new boutiques in New York, London, and Los Angeles.
Going All In: Jacquemus Takes Control of Its Business
With the launch of Jacquemus La Maison Mère, the brand is taking all of its business matters in-house. The company holds 98.15% of Jacquemus La Mode and 100% of Jacquemus La Beauté, with a combined value of €576.1 million EUR. This move allows the brand to have more control over its operations and future growth.
Beauty and Business: Jacquemus Partners with L’Oréal
In February, Jacquemus announced its exclusive beauty partnership with L’Oréal, with the French cosmetics conglomerate acquiring a 10% minority stake in the company. This partnership will support Jacquemus’ independent development and further establish the brand as a global luxury house.
New Leadership, New Goals
To lead the company towards its goal of becoming a leading global luxury house, Jacquemus appointed Sarah Benady as its new chief executive officer. Benady, previously president of Celine North America, brings a wealth of experience to the brand and will play a crucial role in its future success.
