Jordan Brand’s “Rare Air” Series: A Must-Watch Storyline for 2025
As we head into 2025, one of the most exciting things to watch out for is Jordan Brand’s new “Rare Air” series of kicks. Early looks and rumors have listed the Air Jordan 1, 3, 4, and 11 as participants, with each one taking inspiration from imperfect sample pairs.
First Look: Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” Sample
We recently gave you a first look at the Air Jordan 11 “Rare Air,” and now we have another exclusive preview to share: an Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” sample. This version of the AJ4 follows a similar approach to its black counterpart, which is set to release this summer. The multicolored sole unit features a striking color blocking with red, gray, blue, off-white, and black all making an appearance. However, the upper takes a different route with a clean white leather finish, black Nike Air branding at the heel, two-tone off-white laces, and matching off-white detailing. As with the other “Rare Air” version of the AJ4, it also comes with a set of removable patches that reveal white “JORDAN RARE AIR” text at the tongue’s base.
Don’t Expect to See This Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” Sample on Shelves
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, this Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” sample is not expected to ever hit retail shelves. But that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate its unique design and details. Take a closer look at the sneaker and stay tuned for more updates on Jordan Brand’s new “Rare Air” series.
