Last month, we gave you a sneak peek of the atmos x New Balance 1000 “Bāṅdhnū,” and now it’s been officially announced as part of atmos’ “Grey Days” project. The name “Bāṅdhnū” is derived from the Hindi word for “to tie,” and this collaboration explores the various meanings and symbolism behind bandanas.
The Design
The shoe features black nubuck overlays that contrast with an original paisley pattern in white, creating a bold and eye-catching colorway. But that’s not all – select purchasers of the shoes will also receive matching bandanas to complete the look.
Release Details
The atmos x New Balance 1000 “Bāṅdhnū” will first be released at atmos Kyoto’s “Grey Days” event on May 16. A raffle will then open on May 17, with the final release on May 24 at atmos stores for ¥26,400 JPY (approx. $178 USD).
