Introducing the highly anticipated collaboration between fragment design, Union LA, and Air Jordan 1 High OG – the “Varsity Red/Sport Royal” colorway. This new partnership, set to release in Spring 2026, has been making waves since rumors first surfaced last year. And now, with a speculative mock-up (pictured above) giving us a taste of what’s to come, the hype is only growing.
The collab takes inspiration from fragment design’s 2014 collaboration and a black and white rendition spotted on the feet of Hiroshi Fujiwara. But this time, the duo is bringing a new twist with a bold red and blue colorway, accompanied by classic black and white tones. The iconic thunderbolt logo of fragment design and Union LA’s signature Frankenstein-d collar will also make a comeback, creating a familiar yet distinct look.
While we don’t have any official images of the shoe yet, SneakerMarketRO and brandon1an have reported that the color blocking of the speculative mock-up is close to what we can expect from the final product. And with no confirmation from fragment design, Union LA, or Jordan Brand, the release of this third Air Jordan 1 High OG is still shrouded in mystery. But one thing’s for sure – it’s going to be a must-have for sneakerheads.
