YOSHIDA & Co. Celebrates 10th Anniversary of PORTER STAND with BAPE Collaboration

Japanese fashion brand YOSHIDA & Co. has two exciting reasons to celebrate: the 10th anniversary of its concept bag shop, PORTER STAND, and the opening of a new store in Sendai. To commemorate these milestones, the company is launching a pop-up shop in collaboration with popular streetwear brand BAPE. The collection will feature a range of travel-inspired bags and tops.

Travel in Style with the PORTER STAND x BAPE Collection

The joint lineup includes four bag styles, including a backpack and four crossbody silhouettes in various sizes. Each design features BAPE’s iconic ABC CAMO pattern woven in jacquard, as well as PORTER’s signature iconography. The collection also includes a BABY MILO T-shirt, with the beloved BAPE character dressed as a porter.

A History of Collaboration

This is not the first time PORTER STAND and BAPE have joined forces. In the past, they have released a “Trunk Show” collection for Spring/Summer 2018, featuring a mix of outerwear and bags adorned with BAPE’s CAMO DUCK motif, in celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary.

The pop-up shop is currently open at PORTER STAND’s Sendai, Shinjuku, Shinagawa, and Kyoto locations until May 19. After the event, the collaboration items will be available for purchase on both brands’ webstores starting May 24. Check out the lineup below for a sneak peek of what’s to come.
