Kiko Kostadinov and New Era Team Up for a Capsule Collection of Bold Headwear

Last summer, Kiko Kostadinov wowed audiences with his Paris runway presentation, featuring a range of headwear from colorful neck gaiters to hooded balaclavas. But now, the Bulgarian designer has added a new element to his headwear game with a collaboration with New Era.

The SS25 line, which was first seen on the Paris runway, is now available in a capsule collection of casual hats. The collection features three styles, each with its own unique texture, giving a glimpse into Kostadinov’s creative process in wearable form.

The boldest style in the lineup is a pinstripe cotton hat, made from the same fabric as the closing looks of Kostadinov’s SS25 presentation. The hat features intersecting stripes in shades of green, with neon green embroidery showcasing a K monogram and the brand’s collection numbering, “00182025.”

Another standout piece is a tan herringbone wool hat with white embroidery, featuring the brand’s callouts. This fabric was originally used in Kostadinov’s futuristic tailoring, but now makes a statement in hat form. The collection also includes a speckled jacquard weave hat with contrast stitching, featuring the same custom Italian jacquard fabric seen on asymmetrical coats and blousons in the original collection.

The capsule collection will be released exclusively in Japan on May 3, available at KIKO KOSTADINOV TOKYO and Dover Street Market Ginza. Don’t miss your chance to get your hands on these bold and versatile pieces from Kiko Kostadinov and New Era.
