Willy Chavarria Hive, Rise: First Drop from Spring/Summer 2025 Collection Pays Tribute to American Spirit

The wait is over for fans of Mexican-American designer Willy Chavarria as he drops the first installment of his highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2025 collection, titled “América.” Known for his signature sporty tailoring and two-time CFDA trophy wins, Chavarria’s latest line made its debut during New York Fashion Week last September. According to the designer, the collection is a tribute to the resilience, dreams, and boundless possibilities that define the American spirit.

Chavarria drew inspiration from various movements such as the United Farm Workers Movement, Civil Rights Movement, and women’s liberation movements, which have brought people together to create change. He also pays homage to the working-class uniform, a version of which his Irish-American mother and Mexican-American father wore as immigrant farmers in California’s San Joaquin Valley.

The collection features canvas trousers in “Trigo,” “Pea Coat,” and “Pearl” colorways, with keys dangling from the belt loops, a nod to the everyday worker. The “Willy Chavarria Fashion Services” shirts, styled with tucked-in ties, also pay tribute to the working class. Other pieces include washed T-shirts and caps with “América” lettering, the ACLU logo, and produce-inspired illustrations.

The first drop from Willy Chavarria’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection is now available to shop on the designer’s webstore. Check out the full lineup in the gallery above and join the Willy Chavarria hive as they rise to celebrate the American spirit.
