Pharrell’s Love for Miami Inspires Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2025 Collection
Hip-hop mogul and fashion icon Pharrell Williams has a special place in his heart for Miami. The city’s vibrant culture and unique energy have captured his attention, and it’s no surprise that he has incorporated it into his latest collaboration with luxury brand Louis Vuitton.
In an interview with Hypebeast, Pharrell expressed his love for Miami, stating that “there’s no other place like it in the world.” This love is evident in his work as the artistic director for Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection, which is inspired by a cross-continental cruise from Paris to Miami.
Pharrell’s connection to Miami runs deep, with his various business ventures in the city. In 2018, he opened a 13,500-square-foot dining establishment called Swan in the Design District. Two years later, he purchased a $30 million mansion in Coral Gables, and in 2021, he opened The Goodtime Hotel in South Beach with hospitality expert David Grutman. And let’s not forget the opening of his Billionaire Boys Club flagship store in Miami.
With his extensive knowledge of Miami’s luxury scene, Pharrell has created a collection that caters to the city’s elite. This is not the typical club attire you would see at Club Space, but rather the perfect wardrobe for yacht owners, sports car enthusiasts, and those dining at Swan or vacationing at The Goodtime Hotel.
The collection is divided into two chapters: “Transit” and “Arrival.” The “Transit” line features Monogram Regatta-printed windbreakers, sporty driving jackets, and tailored suits, while the “Arrival” collection is perfect for lounging by the pool with French terry towel robes, aqua bowling sets, and resort-inspired motifs.
Pharrell’s signature touch can be seen in the aged tan VVT sfumato trims and nautical finish of the Monogram Heritage motif. Accessories such as sailor berets, pearl denim baseball caps, and ship-rope-inspired chains and bracelets add to the collection’s nautical theme.
Even Louis Vuitton’s iconic footwear models, such as the Scala, Easy Mule, Footprint, and Venice, have been given a vacation-inspired makeover.
The Pre-Fall 2025 menswear collection is captured in a campaign shot by photographer Rosie Marks, showcasing the luxurious and laid-back vibe of Miami. So if you want to dress like Pharrell and live the Miami lifestyle, this collection is a must-have.
