Wacko Maria Drops New Collection Inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy
Japanese label Wacko Maria has just released its latest SS25 drop, featuring a collaboration with The Dark Knight Trilogy. The collection pays homage to Heath Ledger’s iconic portrayal of the Joker, with a range of classic basics adorned with cut out movie stills and minimal graphics.
Leading the collection are short sleeved camp collar shirts, featuring repeating prints of the Joker in various compositions. One standout piece is a baby blue shirt covered in faded images of the Joker’s head. Graphic tees also make an appearance, featuring a simple Wacko Maria word mark on the breast and a large Joker print on the back. For a more intricate design, a black tee and crewneck sweatshirt feature digital surveillance motifs.
This is not the first time Wacko Maria has collaborated with The Dark Knight franchise. In February, the brand released a collection featuring the extended cast of characters, including a shirt featuring Christian Bale as Batman in the midst of a fireball. The new collection draws inspiration from all three films in the trilogy, released between 2005 and 2012.
