The Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer Finally Drops, Teasing a Retro-Futuristic Adventure
After months of anticipation, Marvel has finally released the official trailer for their highly-anticipated film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. And let us tell you, it does not disappoint.
In true Marvel fashion, the trailer opens with a bang, giving audiences a glimpse of the first family in action. Set in a “retro-futuristic, 1960s vibe,” the film promises to take viewers on an epic adventure filled with action, drama, and unexpected twists.
The trailer introduces us to the main group, including Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. But that’s not all, as Marvel also teases the appearance of Julia Garner as Silver Surfer and an unexpected pregnancy.
According to the official synopsis, the group will face their most daunting challenge yet as they are forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond. They must defend Earth from the ravenous space god, Galactus (played by Ralph Ineson), and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer. And if that wasn’t enough, things get personal when Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it suddenly becomes very personal.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to be the first title of MCU’s Phase Six, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. The star-studded cast also includes Paul Walter-Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles, with Matt Shakman directing and a script written by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer.
Mark your calendars, because The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to hit theaters on July 25, following the release of Thunderbolts. But for now, check out the epic trailer above and get ready for an adventure like no other.
