Timberland and Jacquemus Join Forces for a Bold New Collaboration
Today, two fashion powerhouses are making headlines with the announcement of their exciting new collaboration. Paris-based brand Jacquemus is teaming up with American outdoor brand Timberland to put a fresh spin on one of their most iconic models – the 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe, also known as “La Bateau”.
The new release, available in a vibrant “Banana Yellow” color, is a perfect choice for the upcoming summer season. This version of “La Bateau” stays true to the original design, featuring premium leather uppers, soft leather lining, and a rugged lug outsole that is instantly recognizable.
But what sets this collaboration apart is the personal touch of Jacquemus’ creative director, Simon Porte. The shoes are adorned with gold-colored lace-tip eyelets, adding a touch of luxury to the cotton laces. Each side also features a square and round lace-tip, adding a unique and stylish detail.
And that’s not all – the shoes also come with cobranded gold-colored metal lace keepers, a small but impactful detail that adds a touch of Parisian flair. The Timberland and Jacquemus “La Bateau” shoe will be available for purchase on April 23rd at Jacquemus stores, Timberland’s Tokyo location, and online on Timberland’s website for £225 GBP / $250 USD.
