Jonathan Anderson Takes Over as Dior Men’s Creative Director, Confirmed by LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault

At LVMH’s annual shareholders meeting, the fashion world was buzzing with the news of Jonathan Anderson’s next big move. The renowned designer, who recently stepped down from his role at Loewe, has officially been announced as the successor to Kim Jones at Dior Men. This confirmation from LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault puts an end to months of speculation and rumors surrounding Anderson’s next fashion role.

Arnault, responding to a shareholder’s question about who will be taking over at Dior, confirmed that Anderson will be leading the menswear department at the luxury brand. This marks the first time LVMH has spoken publicly about Anderson’s role after his departure from Loewe. While Arnault did not provide any further details about Anderson’s position, there have been rumors that he may also take over the womenswear department from current designer Maria Grazia Chiuri.

During the meeting, Arnault also gave a shoutout to other LVMH designers, including Sarah Burton at Givenchy, Michael Rider at Celine, and Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCullough at Loewe. He also praised Chiuri’s recent pre-fall 2025 collection, as well as the work of Nicolas Ghesquière and Pharrell Williams at Louis Vuitton. Arnault also recognized Victoire de Castellane, Dior’s longtime designer of fine jewelry collections.

Fashion enthusiasts can expect to see Anderson’s first menswear collection for Dior at the upcoming menswear fashion week in Paris on June 27. With his unique and innovative designs, Anderson is sure to bring a fresh perspective to the iconic brand. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new chapter for Dior Men.
